ORing now has the latest solution for compact-size industrial-grade waterproof outdoor 802.11a/n wireless access points: IAP-W510 and IAP-W512, both with long transmission range of up to 10 km, high power output of 500 mW, data throughput of more than 80 Mbps, strong data security (HTTPs plus WEP/WPA/WPA-PSK(TKIP,AES)/ WPA2/WPA2-PSK(TKIP,AES)/802.1X), wireless load balance, and multi-operation-mode support (AP/Bridge/Repeater/AP-Client/Client). Additionally, with X-Roaming support (handover time < 100 ms), the WDS use of multiple IAP-W510s and/or IAP-W512s for expanded wireless network would be very swift and smooth.

Physically IAP-W510 comes with built-in 15 dBi antenna, while IAP-W512 has two N-type antenna ports for those who wish to further customize the antenna parts. Each of these two units has wide operating temperature range of -30~70^oC and features rugged IP-67 housing that is waterproof, dustproof, and rustproof. Additionally, IAP-W510/W512 accepts a wide range of input power voltage of 12~68 VDC. With advantages as mentioned above, IAP-W510 and IAP-W512 open new doors for robust, reliable, and cost-effective long-range wireless outdoor industrial networking applications: mobile medical use, mobile surveillance, airports, harbors, bus and train stations, warehouses, factory automation, power plants, water plants, and other applications in tough outdoor environments.
